Both Sides of the Track

Both Sides of the Track brings country and hip-hop together for a show that refuses to stay in one lane. One minute you’ll hear hard-hitting beats and razor-sharp rhymes; the next, you’ll be riding backroads with loud guitars, honest lyrics, and plenty of country attitude.

At the center of it all is country rap—the sound that proves these two worlds have more in common than most people realize. From artists like Colt Ford, Upchurch, Cypress Spring, The Lacs, and the Georgia Boys to favorites from both sides of the musical divide, this show celebrates the shared stories, struggles, and independent spirit behind the music.

Hosted by Lansing’s own JR Mr. Bad Influence, this is where backroads meet basslines and country meets the concrete—only on Tin Roof Radio.
